The Parable of the Three Servants

We are created in God's image,

Gen 1:26, Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

This means I have God-given creativity and talents. My talents are being linguistically intelligent, and spatially intelligent.
This week we read the parable of the three servants.

The parable was about a master and three servants.
The master was going to go somewhere for a while and gave the three servants some talents, based on their abilities. The first servant got five talents and made five more out of it. the second servant got two talents and made two more out of it. The third servant got one talent and buried it underground. When the master came back he saw this and yelled at the third servant, accusing him to be lazy and foolish.

The parable taught me more about that verse that says, give and it will come back to you. Like how the master gave the servants talents and got more out of it.

I can apply this parable today by giving people stuff, or if someone gives something to me, I make the most of it and give something more back.
